One product that has fast become my saving grace is Redken's Wool Shake 08. Thisis the product to reach for everytime I style my hair knowing it will add life, oomph and that all important swagger to my barnet.

This innovative gel-slush adds extreme volume, texture and a high-fashion, semi-matte topcoat. It promises to shake up any style with a diffused, unrefined wool finish. Simple and easy to use all you have to do is shake to liquify and spray a medium amount on dry hair to unleash wild texture with an unrefined, wool-like top coat.

My poor little face is in need of some extra attention so I've been reaching for my Clarins HydraQuench Cream-Mask. It's that time of year when the season changes and you begin to find yourself dashing between the rain showers and shielding your delicate self from the harsh winds. That or you live in Cork and it's starting to rain everyday instead of every second day. Either way it's time I started reinvesting in my skincare routine. So this week I went and bought myself Aveda's Tourmaline Charged Radiant Skin Refiner and I'm so glad I did. A creamy, clay-based scrub exfoliates with bamboo extract and energizes with tourmaline to leave skin radiant and refined. It's my new weekly beauty secret...ssshhh!

As a girl with fine hair the Redken Extreme range with protein has become my shower time saviour. It gently cleanses to help fortify weakened areas, reinforce surface protection and internal strength and adds shine. Formulated with ceramides and proteins that begin damage control on the inside with a double line defence, it helps prevent further damage and split ends by constantly supplying strength. It's worked to add body, bounce and shine to my tresses.

(Malin + Goetz)

(MALIN+GOETZ) family-owned and operated apothecary in New York's Chelsea neighborhood launched March 2004.  The Chelsea store, while modern in every way, is similar to traditional neighborhood apothecaries of years past: full of activity, wonderful treatments, and great customer service. Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz waited on each customer themselves for the first three years and still live in Chelsea around the corner from the store, similar to chemists 100 years ago. Their wholesale operation, shipping and packing, all happened from behind this store-until they outgrew this space in 2007.  And, of course, their bulldogs, Bob and Junior, became superstars as passers-by stopped to photograph the "dogs in the window".
