Hidden away in Dublin's Portobello is the delicious Lennox Cafe which kindly played nurse to my Sunday morning hangover brunch. A haven for foodies and a delight to passer-bys this cafe and bistro showcases the best in modern international cuisine sourced from local ethical providers. I opted for the french toast with wild berries and ice-cream which served as a comforting embrace from a sweet stack of carbohydates with a hint of sharp berry zing.
The bistro is off the main road offering a sense of peace and serenity away from the city hustle. Despite it's almost invisible appearance Lennox Cafe boasts a reputation of excellance which is relfected in its wide range of electic customers. I would advise you to book ahead as crowds are known to gather in line outside the establishment. A must on your next visit to Dublin that's well worth a detour off Camden Street.

Camden Crawl
I spent last weekend in Dublin and partook in the inaugural Meteor Camden Crawl: a live music festival spanning the music quarter of Dublin. I wisely choose to wear flats and spent the Saturday evening hiking to and from Whelans, Button Factory, Grand Social and The Workman's Club after party (with a cocktail pit-stop in Capital). The event is the baby sister of London's Camden crawl and a similar design to Stag and Dagger which Ezzie and I attended together last Summer in London and like my Stag and Dagger experience this was a great chance to stumble upon new music and start obsessing over new songs. For me last year it was Ghostpoet. This time round Waterford's magical voice Katie Kim who played a mesmerizing and hauntingly hypnotic set including a chilling cover of Wicked Game. It was great to see this type of event coming to Ireland especially when so many wonderful new Irish acts were featured in the weekends line-up. I for one certainly can't wait for next year!

Leather Weather
Yes, I am suppose to be on a blogging break right now. I am meant to be studying for my college exams and not procrastinating via the Internet. But it's pouring from the heavens and I cant spend my mental break out in the fresh air so here is a very quick little post. I got this divine leatherette monster clutch/laptop cover in the post today and I couldn't wait three whole weeks ti blog about it so here I am. This beautiful piece was made from scratch by a fellow Cork blogger Tar Mar who is selling customised items via paypal. The photo really doesn't do it justice and I really really cant wait to style it. I feel it will fast become a staple piece! I'm also looking forward to many more wonderful pieces from this talented lady.
Outfit shots upon my return!

NAIL POLISH by H&M
When I spotted Queen Bey sporting blue nails in honour of Blue Ivy, I was a little obsessed with the colour. Much to my dismay I found out it was yet to be released by Nails Inc. A few weeks later I spotted this little gem while in the queue in H&M for the tidy sum of £2.99 so thought I would grab it to tide me over.
I never bought the Nails Inc one was I was so impressed with the H&M bottle. The colour was impressive, even after one coat although I always lay on two. They have lots more in store and they are so economical it's just good sense to buy them!

DIY Peter Pan Collar
So as you may have noticed I adore collars in all shapes, sizes, forms and textures and am determined to begin my DIY adventures here. Just thinking of walking into my local haberdashery to pick my patterns, fabrics and metres of lace has my heart all a flutter.
Here's to my first easy and carefree dalliance with fashion homemaking opening my wardrobe to a whole array of lovely laces, feminine florals and pretty peter pans!

Merry Margate
I stepped off the train and tried to remember why I'd come. I had been warned. "It's not very nice", they said. "Not much to do", they told me. I was in Margate.

Once the place to be, since the onslaught of holidays abroad, this town has been forgotten. After about half an hour, I began to feel it. The history. This was the birthplace of the British Seaside Holiday. From Victorian times to the 1960s, it was cool. Cheap, colourful and cheerful.
Its weird to see a town alive with people and dead in so many areas. Beautiful Georgian houses surround it. It has the oldest rollercoaster in the UK. Of course, it now lies in ruins. We stay in the beautiful Reading Rooms.
For me, the most touching part was Martgate Lido. Once one of the few seaside pools, it is of course, in ruins now. But it's Art Deco charm remains, for me at least. Once it hosted Beauty Pagents. I just loved it.
Margate is on the up. We see a lot of this. I hope it's true. Tracey Emin is from Margate. This explains a lot. I left after two days being completly touched by this town. There is so much to it, with its long history. Such a sad place. I hope in 10 years, this post will be outdated and it will indeed return to its former glory.

Oreo Cupcakes
The artistry behind cupcake baking in modern kitchens around the world never ceases to amaze me. The imagination and creativity that spurs such unique and adorable results as those pictured above demonstrate some of the variety and scope that comes with the mere addition of Oreos to the mix! I would like to show you my own attempts but I feel I shouldn't show you how my Oreo pandas got so disfigured, dismembered and destroyed on my first go. Next batch, honest!
